In this Animatic, The Count holds a Ball at his Manor, and invites his old “friends”. None of the men recognize him, but Shycedes does. She spends the party trying to talk to him, while he denies knowing her.

Why’d you take two years to finish it???
Well, it’s because we had to go on hiatus due to this film course we were taking.

Where’s the music from? And where can I get it?
It is from a musical, called “The Count of Monte Cristo Musical”. The music is available on iTunes.

Where can I watch this?
You can’t, unless you live nearby where it is being performed on stage, as there are no recordings of it.
EDIT: A lovely youtuber by the name of Count Monsparkle has generously uploaded the German version of the musical but with English subtitles for everyone to watch:

Who’s the singer?
Thomas Borchert and Brandi Burkhardt

What programs did you use to create this?
Everything was drawn in Photoshop CS6, and edited in After Effects CS6.

When will you finish the animation?
Never. This is the finished product. It takes a while to fully animate stuff and we don’t have the patience for it. This way we can get our videos out sooner so we can move onto the next one.
